Perfect for any dinner party, or as a special treat.
- Ingredience needed:
- 4 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice wine
- 1 tbsp Chinese five-spice powder
- Cucumber, spring onions, pancakes, hoi sin sauce.

- Heat the oven to 150C/fan 130C/gas 2. Mix the marinade ingredients in a bowl. trim or pull away any fat from the inside of the duck, then prick all over with a skewer. Put on a rack over a large roasting tin and pour over a kettle full of boiling water. Discard the water, then put the duck back on its rack and tray and cook for 2 hours.(learn more)
- Turn up the oven to 190C/fan 170C/gas 5 and roast the duck for 10 minutes, then brush with the marinade and cook for another 10 minutes. Brush again and put back for 5-10 minutes until glazed.
- Shred the duck and leave to one side
- Shred the cucumber and spring onion.
- Lay out the pancakes drizzle with hoi sin sauce
- Top with the duck, cucumber and spring oven and wrap
